If you are under 40 years old and hold a “pro-choice” position on abortion you would have to be counted among 1/3 who survived the abortion holocaust. It would seem strange to me that you would support what could have been the very taking away of your choice before you even had a chance to exercise it; you would have given away the so called right to your own body you fight for now. “Abortion Rights” Simply Makes No Sense.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Stand True, The Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity and the Youth Outreach of Priests for Life
When I think of Christmas there are so many images that come to mind, it is almost overwhelming at times. One of my greatest Christmas memories goes back to childhood as we waited for the TV Guide to come to the house so we can see when “Charlie Brown Christmas” would be on TV. The Charlie Brown Christmas Special has been my favorite since I was a little boy and is still my favorite to this day.
When I was a child I was not a Christian and really had no thoughts about God at all; Christmas was all about Santa and the presents. Even without Christianity as part of our Christmas celebration I was drawn to the speech that Linus gave as he quoted the Gospel of Luke and told the true Christmas story.
As I look back at those early days and the later years when I was involved in drugs, crime and so many things I cannot even mention, I now see where God was right there with me, guiding me towards His Son even while I was running so hard against Him. I can see how God protected me and kept me alive as He was preparing me for the next chapter in my life. I know that God allowed me to go through what I did to make me stronger to help others who struggle in life.
God pulled me up out of that pit of mud and mire as He says in Psalm 40: He set my feet on the Rock who is Christ and gave me this new song to sing. He has guided me through an incredible journey for 24 years as I sought to be closer to Him and to know His truth to the fullest. He gave me a vision and a calling to use my life and voice to stand up for the most vulnerable humans — those who live in the womb. There is nothing on earth that can separate me from knowing that God loves me and gave His Son to set me free.
While I may not have understood completely the message that Linus was sharing in the Charlie Brown Christmas Special, God was using that to prepare me and plant a seed in my heart. I often still tear up when I see that scene in the show, and I pray that it will set a foundation in the hearts of my children also.
The greatest gift I can think of giving to all of you for Christmas is attaching a link to the video clip of Linus giving the Christmas message. I hope you will share this video with everyone you know and love.
I hope and pray this video will bless you, and I hope that the work of Stand True has blessed you this year.
We hope that you will also bless Stand True by giving one more Christmas gift this year, a donation for LIFE. We rely on your generous support, and by making a Christmas donation you will guarantee that we continue to press on towards our goal of abolishing abortion.

So it begins – this January 22 will mark the beginning of the 40th year of government sanctioned, protected and funded child killing in America.
I know it is Christmas season (yes, I refuse to call it “the holiday season”). I know we are mostly thinking about joyous and happy things this time of year, and I really don’t want to spoil that for you.
But as much as I enjoy Christmastime, it also brings another season along with it for me to begin preparations. Every year at this time I kick into full gear with my planning and for the annual March for Life in Washington, DC.
This year is probably one of the most significant I have ever planned for as we are entering the 40th year of the decriminalization of abortion in America. I was 4 years old when the Supreme Court once again decided to strip the personhood from a group of people, as they did back in 1857 with the Dred Scott decision. I don’t have much memory of life at 4 years old, so in my lifetime I have never really known a time when babies were not being slaughtered.
Anyone who knows me knows I can be a very emotional person and I am honestly fighting back the tears right now as I am typing these words. 40 years! It is so hard for me to grasp the fact that we as a society are still justifying the systematic slaughter of sector of society as some even fight for it existence as a human rights issue.
I just got back to the United States last night from a trip to Brussels, Belgium and The Hague, Netherlands. I spoke at and participated in the March for Life, Netherlands on Saturday. While I was standing on the side of the crowd I tried to talk to a woman who was dressed as Jesus and screaming obscenities at the march participants. As I spoke to her and asked her what she was so angry about, all she could say to me over and over again was “f@*k off”.
Normally I would think that someone protesting would love to have a chance to share their opinion, to explain why they would take the time to come and protest. The fact is that most of the time the pro-abortion side will not talk to us because they know their position is truly indefensible. They know that abortion is the killing of a human being and that they can only argue from emotional rabbit trails that go away from the core issue at hand.
This is one of the reasons I believe this is a spiritual battle and not just a matter of showing the facts. Of course showing the truth, presenting a good factual argument and using scientific truth is important. Even with all of that, this battle is first and foremost, spiritual warfare. This girl was obviously angry with God and hated Him enough to mock Him openly in the streets. I realized that talking to her at that point was useless so I decided to just pray for her as that is what she needed most.
I have noticed over the years while doing outreach at abortion clinics that the pro-abortion volunteers get most angry with me while I am praying or reading my Bible. They hate it when people gather and pray a rosary or the Psalms. They hate when preachers will just read out loud the word of God; it simply drives them insane.
The spiritual battle does not just exist outside of the abortion clinics; the war is raging inside the churches as those who call themselves followers of Christ continue to ignore this battle. The spirit of apathy is alive and well inside of churches and it is winning.
Can you imagine if those of us who called ourselves Christian and claimed to be pro-life actually stood up and said, “No More”? What if the pastors and priests led their congregations to the gates of hell, the killing centers, and got on their faces before God to cry out about this blood being spilled in the streets? What if every single person in each city where these death camps existed marched to the front doors and said, “No More”?
Maybe you are one of those who think that this is just too big of a hill to climb, just as some thought that William Wilberforce could not climb the hill to abolish slavery? Maybe you are one who thinks that we must just accept the way things are because they will never change, just like those who thought Martin Luther King, Jr. would never change things?
I see things differently. I know what God did in my life, pulling me out of the muck and mire that I wallowed in for so many years. I witnessed God perform miracles in my life that kept me alive when I thought death was imminent. During my drug years a man opened my camper and pointed a gun at my head to kill me, but instead he walked away after holding gun towards me for several seconds. Later I talked to this man; he told me when he looked into my camper it was empty.
I know how big God is. I know he is bigger than abortion. I have seen God take a scumbag like myself and allow me to go out and help lead a generation of the most amazing young people to take a stand against the killing of their generation. I still believe God is bigger than abortion and that we will win this battle.
This generation also believes that and that is why this is the generation who will end abortion. This will be the next William Wilberforce generation; they will take action and be the generation to usher in the abolition of the worst human rights tragedy in history, abortion.
As we enter the 40th year of decriminalized child killing in America it is time for Christians to break off the chains of 40 years of apathy and rise up, stand true and cry out for the abolition of abortion.
Are you with us?
For Christ I Stand,
Bryan Kemper

Top Ten Pro-life New Years Resolutions from Stand True
I know many of you who are reading this are already sacrificing so much for the cause of the babies; you already go above and beyond what most others do. But this year is different. This is the beginning of the 40th year of legalized abortion in America, and I believe we need to raise the bar.
A few weeks ago, I wrote a commentary about this beginning of the 40th year of abortion in America. It can be read here if you have not read it yet: http://wp.me/pKipa-14p
Top Ten – I know there are many more ideas; I just wanted to give you’re a kick-start on being more active this year.
10. VOTE! This being an election year, we can do so much by voting and encouraging everyone we know to vote pro-life. Check out www.bemyvote.com to see how you can help be the change that saves lives.
9. Pro-life Social Networking is a great way to spread pro-life facts and information to millions of people. Stand True and Priests for Life are constantly posting great pro-life information that you can copy and paste onto your Facebook, blog, or social networking site. Please visit and “Like” the Priests for Life, and Stand True Facebook fan pages to get the latest news and updates you can help spread.

8. Organize a diaper drive for your local Pregnancy Resource Center. Contact your local CPC to see if anyone is already doing a drive you can join in on, and if not, volunteer to do one yourself. E-mail info@standtrue.com for more information on how to run a diaper drive.
7. Educate yourself on all aspects of the pro-life movement. One important thing you can do is sign up for e-mail updates from your favorite pro-life organizations on most of their websites. Each organization has different information, so it pays to sign up for a few and just read what you can. There are also great educational resources online at priestsforlife.org, standtrue.com, hh76.com, and abort73.com.
6. Wear pro-life t-shirts and clothing. You can reach thousands of people a day wearing a pro-life t-shirt. My favorite place to wear mine is the airport; I think I get maximum visibility there. School is also a great place to wear a pro-life t-shirt – if your school gives you trouble, you can always contact the Alliance Defense Fund at 1-800-tell-adf. You can order great pro-life t-shirts at Pro-life World: www.prolifeworld.com
5. Donate regularly to a pro-life organization of your choice; these organizations operate solely from generous donations from people like you. There are many great organizations that I can list that deserve your support, but seeming as I work for Priests for Life and Stand True I will suggest these two. Simply go to priestsforlife.org or standtrue.org and make an online donation, or find out how to get on their mailing lists.
4. Volunteer at your local Pregnancy Resource Center or Home for Unwed Mothers. These ministries always need help – whether it is answering phones, cleaning, yard work, or other duties. Look up Abortion Alternatives in the phone book.
3. Distribute pro-life literature wherever you go. It is important that we are always prepared to present a knowledgeable and strong pro-life message at any time. I suggest visiting sites like priestsforlife.org and hh76.org, and ordering pro-life literature to keep with you at all times.
2. Sidewalk counseling is one of the most effective ways of outreach in saving unborn children. Being in front of the abortion clinic and standing in the gap for the children is vital, and has proven to save countless lives. If you would like more information about effective and compassionate sidewalk counseling, please contact Elizabeth McClung at info@austincoalitionforlife.com
1. Prayer is our most powerful weapon and something we can do every day. I recommend putting something next to your bed or on your dresser that will remind you to pray daily; a fetal model or baby toy are great reminders.
BONUS IDEA – Can you start 2012 with a special Kick Off donation to Stand True? We are working hard to make this year our most active ever. This is the beginning of the 40th year; that means one full generation has now survived the abortion holocaust. Please help us to make sure that we do not let this holocaust continue for another generation.
Please click here and make a donation today to help us save lives in 2012 - http://tinyurl.com/3snmbob – or click on donate on the top of this page.
